For this week I got to painting! I ended up taking away two of the books and the palette knife that were originally in the painting but then I laid in my composition with charcoal. Then I began scrubbing in the middle values.

So this year for my 30/30 challenge I am going to complete a 16×20 still life oil painting. Hopefully this painting will help me learn more about composition and working on a bigger canvas. I’m very excited to work on this for my challenge this year!...
