I haven’t made much progress this week! Life has been busy here I’m also not sure if I want to go more abstract with my figures so pausing for a bit.  I’ll get back to another layer this weekend because it’s supposed to rain.

This was a picture from my brother of our son, nieces and nephews. It reminded me of the John Sloan Mcsorleys bar. I’m just plugging away at it an hour at a time at the end of the day. I’m still working on the design and drawing and haven’t actually begun ‘painting’...

Things were very crowded but in Paris we drew in the dorsay, petit palais, the louvre. I spent the day at the louvre studying this very gentle painting of father and son. London- national gallery, national portrait gallery, leighton house and the Tate (my favorite)....

This is the final pass so I’m done with this. It’s large 20 x 20 and went flying off my easel. I had to work on it on the floor standing up or on my knees which was quite fun ! Be well and stay warm.Below is m floor easel….
