This is a raw umber block in for the ‘figure and hand’ class I’m taking. It’s just supposed to be shapes and values but still a LOT to do!

 I have Been fussing with this for two years! I keep changing design and colors but never happy with. I just can’t capture that warm buggy day in the community garden! I’ll keep plugging away . Maybe two more years 👩🏻‍🎨

Here’s a quick sketch of just a small corner of a dish towel.  As you can see a lot of erasing went on! I should have started with the pattern. I think I’ll practice fabric with patterns more.

I hope you survived the storm. 8” here but it’s freezing. Here’s my picture for today. I pulled about half of the flowers when I saw how complicated it was! I’d like to work more on fabrics and stripes! Have a nice day!💕
