This is the study from the David Schevlino online class I just did. I could do another 100 hours but I’m ready to move on! It was so helpful to watch him mix skin tones. I’d love to do a live drawing class again

Probably one of the last winter scenes this year. Amish cutting ice near Palmyra,Maine. I love how the poor horse is resting. They make them work so hard driving on those paved roads .

Another picture of shapes and colors! I’m having fun with these sketches-trying to get thick, impasto paint.  if I call it a ‘sketch’ I really dont worry about where it goes !

This is a start from an iPhone photo taken in Quebec City. I kind of like it as is but will experiment more! We went to see the show ‘generations’ at the museum des beaux arts in Quebec. Beautiful collection of Canadian art and landscape painters.
