I combined both challenges.  Mourning doves visit in our yard each day.  They’re so beautiful and I love their song.  I decided to dress her up in magenta!

This is a drawing from the children’s book, “Smudge” by Clare Hurley Newberry.  She wrote and illustrated it in 1948.  I loved her loose, expressive style. Clare’s drawing.
