I’ve been trying abstract painting. These were all exercises. I’m having fun, even though I don’t know what I’m doing!  The middle one was supposed to be all neutrals.

I’ve been trying some abstracts, but this one really wanted to be a landscape, so I went with it. I don’t know why the faint diagonal lines are showing in the sky-they aren’t on the canvas.

Vaguely floral. I tried out some masa paper. I dropped colors onto crinkled paper and had fun seeing what happened from there. I think I’ll explore it a little more to see what happens. (Thank you Les!)
