The magazine photo of grapes was the inspiration behind this one. I altered the photo a bit by cropping and painting over part of it.

I haven’t finished anything for a while, but I got some acrylic inks and I wanted to try them out. I also got out my watercolors to experiment with. These are on leftover paper scraps.

This is my challenge painting. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get the paint thickness that Van Gogh got, but I think I got the palette and a few of the brushstrokes. I based it on one of my old paintings. This was a really fun challenge!  Thank you...

I usually start a collage with just a color in mind and then pick papers to go with or contrast with that. Sometimes I have a theme in my head, but usually they just evolve and a theme appears. This one looked like a harvest moon to me. It may not look like that at...
