I had a photo of a bunch of flowers which I did this from. It was so much easier than trying to to it from my imagination. I still tried to paint in a loose manner to just suggest the flowers. I had fun doing it and am pleased with the results.

This is Riley. I struggled all week trying to do a pet portrait, and finally just simplified way down and did this one. I may still try the portrait.

This painting is of Maddie and Natalie… Gardner Lake. I worked from a study I did last year. After a series of days of painting, to wake up and scrape, I decided to rework the figures. This is oil and cold wax.
