I took a likeness of VanGogh’s sky and Mountains from Starry Night and added the Cypress from Wheatfield.

Well, the challenge has become more of a challenge, but I’m not giving up, still working on it. Maybe next week. Meantime this is a new plein air that is not complete. It was nice being out and doing it. I’m beginning to feel like some of the old painting...

The artist I like is Lisa Breslin.  I really like the shapes and abstraction of her flowers and the line work she uses.  I used pen she uses pencil.  I pretty much copied her flowers which I know we weren’t supposed to do but i wanted to practice ....
