Oh my! I think I have seen 100 possible paintings so far! Stonington is very nice but the workshop doesn’t start til tomorrow- I’ll keep you posted.

This is a study I did for the class I’m taking with Liz Prescott on composition and color. I loosely quote her, “All art is abstract, some is representational.” For me, a good reminder….

 Here’s a drawing from my weekly drawing class copying the masters. This is a Bougereau. I try to go every week as it forces me to draw for a few hours anyway. Have a nice Labor Day and I’m looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

Abstract watercolor with a little collage and stenciling. I really enjoy putting watercolors down and seeing what they do. When it’s dry it almost tells you what more it needs.
