Lots of feeling and movement, shapes and pieces say it all.

The thing I notice about this one is delicate vs sturdy. The solid boat and landforms opposed to the feathery sky and delicate rigging (?). Not sure if that’s the right term. But the contrasts really caught my eye in a very pleasing way.
It has a a summer’s end feeling, for I imagine that the you and the others on the Cape are preparing to head back home. You’ve captured great feeling in this painting.
I was totally convinced this was an oil, and you say it was a Combo! I like the rich color and textures in the horizontal bands.
