- Number 1 is a collage. 2 and 3 are paintings where I tried using similar elements. It was a fun experiment.
I used mostly papers I made for the collage, but there’s a little commercially made paper too. Things I used In the paintings include watercolor, acrylic (with parts of stencils) oil pastel, and collage.

I like #2 where the circle pulls my eye in and the branch leads out.

I like #3, with the nice mingled colors, behind the harder edges in the letters and leaves. It has a richness to it.
Love the colors! You are so creative. The textures and use of mixed media are beautifully put together!
My favorite is no. 3. I love the way the cool reds mingle with the warm reds to the cool to the warm… leading me through and around the painting.
Red is such a hard color to balance and I feel all of these are very pleasing compositions. #3 is also my favorite
They are so playful, and I like the way that you brought each piece closer (as the camera was zooming in). I saw a paper making book recently and thought of you. One particular one had powdered paints blown onto the paper, then water was splattered giving a really neat effect. The other one was painted paper napkins that were made into little pouches with fancy handles. Love your work!
