I’m not crazy about this one, but it shows how a palette card with a prompt works to get an idea started. The writing on the circle says “leaf shape”, I think. Can’t read my own writing.

What an interesting idea for a prompt. I really like the drippy backdrop… The scratch over or white marks give it a three dimensional feel. You inspire me with your innovative experiments.
You amaze me with your experiments. All so different. You use art supplies I’ve never heard of and make wonderful works with them. Every week I learn something new from what your doing.
Ditto to the above….SO INTERESTING!
I’m interested in how this process works. So many cool ways of approaching a piece of art. I like the drips and the way the red pulls the eye into the painting.

I really like all the different ways you are using materials. The contrast of the red leaf shapes and the more irregular shapes of the background is really effective. Your eye has such a happy time bouncing around the painting! I also like that the white dots tie the whole thing together!
This is so neat!!! I have never heard of this before. You were really successful! The colors, shapes, and especially the white, beadlike figure in the center- all wonderful!
