I chose a painting by Claudia Rilling for my inspiration. I like her very loose style and the way she activates her big shapes. Great learning challenge Shar. Thank you! The painting link for the painting by Claudia I had trouble getting. If you go to this link, and scroll over, you’ll find the painting I chose called, “Bouquet”. The link is https://claudiarilling.com/artwork/4899151-Mexican%20Sunflowers%20%7c%2012×12%20%7c%20Oil%20on%20Linen%20%28sold%29.html

Oh my gosh I love her and you totally captured the loose expressive style she has!
Very nice I love the brushwork and bit of mystery.

I immediately looked at the bright part of the red flower, and then saw all the other soft, understated shapes and colors, always returning to the red. Beautiful and successful, I think.
This is so soft and loose, but I am how you got such a strong pattern of light coming through. Really nice.
I really like the looseness of this. Also, i think the way you melded your abstracted background into the flowers is very effective. I’ve tried to do that, but not at al as well as this .
Just incredibly beautiful. The “cloud” of brushwork surrounding the flower is powerful, like a flower aura!
This is FANTASTIC. Love how you treated the background and how you made your brights so bright in the flower. The edges in the glass/vase – very nicely, loosely done.
