Well, I’m trying my hand at oils! Haven’t used them in years…and never really stuck with them. Lots to learn. I’ve been picking tulips at my cousin’s tulip farm. Am going to try some more little paintings, as well.

I like your blending of colors. I’m sure after just a few paintings you’ll feel great about getting back into oils.
I like the feeling. I feel like I’m outside on the ground looking at the flowers and the deep blue sky with just a hint of cloud.

Just like your drawing, I sense a spiritual quality to this. My eye is lead through your undulating leaves and stems to a tulip that seems to be connected to the clouds…
