I’m trying to get back into the group! Longer days allow me to paint after work for a bit. I had great ideas in my head about pictures from my room in Paris but they are a perspective nightmare. I scraped this out a few times. Here’s my last attempt (this is before the garbage strike)

This brings back fond memories of sitting on the roof top of David’s building in Paris, eating croissants and taking in the view!
i love the strong focal point of the flowers and the way the sunny yellow of the building moves your eye around. Great contrast of light and dark too!
I love them both!!! I am especially drawn to the sunbathed flowers, as well. They add such a softness to the building. Also, I like the seemingly open window above the flowers.
