   I agree. The water color is cool and serene. The reflection of the red boat is so clear it could be a photo.

   Pulling the color from the boat along the shore and to the building so gently leads my eye into the painting and a feeling of peace.

   I agree, this has a wonderful, peaceful feeling. You transitioned the water in the distance with beautiful value and temperature changes. Love that patch of water to the left of the boats!. The looping ropes leading to the boats and, as Les said, the shore line that unifies the color.. really work. The limited palette pulls everything together. Maybe that’s also why it gives me a sense of peace. Everything is working together.

   Serene and calming from your colors to the subject of your painting. I’m really drawn to the trees and the loose way you’ve painted them. A really nice painting.
