This sketch got off to a rough start and after 5 scrub outs I finally had to draw to a grid. For some reason the lily pads kept growing and sliding off the page. I was going to abandon it but I like the design and block in so will keep working on it.
I like the composition a lot and a feeling toward the abstract.
