    Lynda, all of your drawings are superb! You have such sensitivity…the simple grasses you render make me take a much deeper look at grasses I probably have passed by hundreds of times. This one is my favorite… The gesture of the stems as they wander out to the heads… the remnant of the vessels that once contained the seeds having opened up and let them go… Just so, so beautiful!

      Thank you so much. I feel the same about discovering the beauty of the overlooked grasses. When you stop to look closely, it’s amazing how unique each one is! They are even more beautiful in the sunlight. I’m going to tackle a milkweed pod which has some of the fluffy seeds. May take a couple days to complete, though.
