Gemma this is so beautiful!. The color transitions in the hydrangea are sensitively done and give the feel of hydrangea without spelling out the individual blossoms. Keep “fooling around!”
Gemma, these are so pretty! Flowers are very difficult for me, so I really admire them when others do them well. Great job!
Gemma,
Glad you shared this one. It was so good being with you, looking forward to when we gather again.
Les
Hi Gemma, Les took the words right out of my mouth. I’m so glad you shared this with us. It’s lovely. The varying shades of violet đź’ś, complementary background and shape of the vase – you nailed it all.
Gemma, I really like the way you’ve suggested the flowers without a lot of detail. The different direction of the strokes gives it a nice textural feel. Also, the loose background and tabletop rate really effective. A good medium to use while on the road!
Good job on your hydrangea! You got the flower feel without getting too ditzy. Also I like your handling of the vase. Sorry I didn’t get to see you the other day…
