I give you credit for trying! I gave up
I like the texture you got of all those bumpy squash and baskets. This would be a fun composition to play with studies of multiple versions.
I was drawn to the texture, as well, along with the light outline that emphasizes the shapes. It has a warm autumn feeling.
I noticed the texture right away, and that’s excellent. It’s also a nice reminder that fall is almost here-at least in your part of the world. It’s been 90 degrees or more with no rain here forever it seems, so I really appreciate the fall color.
