I’m finding it challenging to use gouache! I think it’s making me more conscious of my brushwork…

I really love what you’re doing. Number 2 has a feeling of an incoming storm to me. It makes me feel as though I can feel the wind and hear the waves. I love it!
Wow Rose, these are wonderful! I particularly am smitten by #1. It has an abstract dreamy feel to it. The pears that come forward and then recede… the rich rhythms of vine… I don’t know what parts gouache played in all of this, but it has made an interesting and unique painting!
You’re doing a wonder job with the gouache. #1 is really intiquing. I just love the patterns of color within the shapes. The stormy seascape is so well done!

It certainly changes the look of your paintings. I’ll be very interested to hear about this experience and where you want to go, or go back to!

# 1 is very interesting. It’s a new you. The shapes & colors are intriguing. #2 is my favorite, I feel a storm coming on with the choppy water.
