This is a great study, I like the felling of distance and depth. A figure in the distance.

I love the chunkiness of your trees. You accomplish a lot with gouache. I would have thought it was an oil painting if you hadn’t told us. I look forward to seeing the next version, but I love the study as it is too!
The salmon colored rocks look so warm and inviting. I would like to walk barefooted upon them! It’s a beautiful landscape, and the distant water and clouds are incredibly peaceful.
