I love the way that you’re collages contain messages that give an extra layer of meaning. Also draws attention to the beauty of what is often overlooked.
You certainly ressurected the recycled! I love the contrast in golds shapes in the sea of purples. The textures are interesting as well. Who would think?
This is a great reminder that we don’t need to go out and buy special things to make art, it’s all around us.

So fun using recycled papers into your work! Do you use a gloss medium to adhere to your painting? That field label looks so cool and I really like the purple woven paper piece along the bottom and the white piece with individual squares is so interesting. Is that fabric? You are super creative Deb!
I use matte gel medium for the heavy papers, matte liquid medium if it’s on tissue paper and I want it to be transparent, and UHU glue sticks for the base layer, usually. I also use PVA glue for an object, like a button or bead. No easy answer! The white windowpane paper and purple lace are both papers from Kozo studio in Thailand. They do look like fabric, don’t they.
