I wanted to get one forsythia before they went by but it kept raining! It rained 3 times in the 2 hours I was here but it was great to get out for my first adventure. Everything was so darn green I think this is roses green challenge 🙂

Beautiful forsythia! I hope you found some shelter when it was raining. You must have been really determined to stay out. The result is great, though, and maybe you can resubmit for the challenge. 😉
The green does seem to come on fast once started. You really captured the forsythia feeling, so great to be out.

Love the composition of this painting. All the big shapes are interesting and different. The house with all it’s beautiful subtle violets makes the perfect backdrop for the forsythia. Despite the rain, it says Spring! Wait a minute… maybe Spring and rain walk hand in hand.
