This is very pretty, Les, and the thing that really caught my eye is the glass. The colors and reflected light are beautiful. It’s also quite an accomplishment since it’s watercolor!
Beautiful Les… The flow of dark violets into the green is soft with really nice shapes. My favorite part is the composition. The center of interest seems to be the glass stem and right side of the glass…It immediately grabs my eye. Then you lead me on an undulating trip up and out of the picture plane. Yes!
It’s a beautiful painting, and I love the position of the glass perched on the edge of the table. The wonderful shapes and colors coupled with the stillness is so nice!
