   You have very subtle color in this one, with those few bright turquoise spots that catch my eye and make me feel as though I’m walking on the beach and following the driftwood up to the building. I’m not quite sure what the mood is, and I keep looking and trying to figure it out, which is really interesting.

   Hi Deb, Thank you, you brought up a good point. This was an abandoned old cottage in this spectacular setting. I was going for a feeling, I guess, of nostalgia. You had no way to know it was abandoned… I think I’ll go back and put a little more info in it. Maybe a broken window, or a board across the door, A title might help, “A time gone by” or some such thing. In any case, thanks for your thoughtful feedback.
   Les reported you are home, and not in a great deal of pain. That’s such good news. I hope you continue to improve with each day.

   I really like this. I especially like that the shack on the beach is really just a dark shape with a bit of white for contrast. I say let the viewer feel what they want about it,. ! Remember the day you were standing there and said you just hadn’t gotten into the zone as you usually do. I’d say you did this time!

   I find this really beautiful, love the palette you used, and also intriguing where I’m not sure if I want to know more, if I’d want to approach or stay at a distance.
