This week feels messy when I got to working on the values for the trees. I may have taken on too much too soon yet I’m finding in this one, I like how the dust has added some depth to the field and the edges alongside the path.

This has a wonderful feeling of atmosphere and feeling of depth. Very nice.

I really love your trees, and the light breaking through is beautiful. Messy isn’t necessarily bad when it comes to painting. 😉
I too like the textural feel the layered pieces of dust give this. I like the feathery lightness of your tree and the subdued light that comes through them. The painting has a quiet peaceful feel to me.
I really like that you’ve used a dark value to move the eye through the painting. I also like the use of diagonals which gives energy to a very peaceful scene.
This has such a lovely soft, gentle feeling. I wouldn’t change anything!
