I was planning to draw more and focus on hands but I got distracted by dishes, fruit and landscapes! Here are a few. I found Jose tapiro y baro online and he’s worth a look if you want to do drapery studies!

Wow, Margaret! These are all fantastic, but I especially love 4. That lifted left hand is so beautiful! You always give me such inspiration!!! Thanks for that!
Your drawings are always amazing. It shows that you’ve worked hard on hand drawing and it has paid off.
#3 with all those folds has my interest, I’m going to look him up.
Wonderful drawings Margaret! I looked up Jose and see why you were smitten with his work… it’s so expressive! My favorite this week is #2. The weight of her head in her hands you nailed… It has so much emotion!
I really love the second one. The hands are so expressive against her face, and I wonder what she’s feeling. They’re all beautiful.
These are all fantastic. The different weights and types of crosshatching express so much about each one. I especially like #2…its shows strength as well as sadness or gentleness (not sure). Lots of emotion, anyway. I’m in awe!
I love #2, as well but they’re all fantastic. The placement of the woman’s pinkie is intriguing. She looks quite pensive.
#3 is my favorite, the facial expression says so much and also how simply all the draping (a word?) has been captured.
