Haha! My challenge lately has been learning gouache! I have a great respect for those of you who have mastered water media- it is sooooooo hard. Enjoy these beautiful days.

As with Piper, your style shines through! This is great. I’m intrigued by the white strip at bottom right-I keep trying to read words in there. I’m not sure if that was your intention, but that’s where my thoughts went. I’ve been finding the most bothersome difference between oil/acrylic and watercolor/gouache is that you can’t easily fix mistakes. It doesn’t look like you made any!

You must be catching on quickly. What’s particularly hard for me is the change of value in the drying. I seem to go through a ton of white… Yours looks great.
