   This feels like India to me, the colors, like a tapestry, some woven material. Also a calm and softness to it.

   At first look I thought this was a real piece of cloth material, not a collage. I was trying to determine if the lettering on the side had a specific meaning?

   This has a beautiful array of textures and patterns. The blue insignia is just right against your beautiful grays.

   Deb I seriously thought you used sand in this piece! I love the bits of gold and the boarder is so interesting. I especially like how the sandy texture leads down to the blue velvety texture and the map. So cool! Is this all with paper?

     The blue velvet is a ribbon. The rest is paper that was shared by another person in one of my classes, not
     paper I made. I made the compass and letters though.
