1 is a rhododendron sprig done with natural watercolors
2 is because I couldn’t settle down to do anything, so I painted ice cream cones. 😬
3 is an attempt at painting something somewhat realistic with watercolor. I’m not happy with it, but I gave it a try.

I am liking these natural watercolors! The color is rich, but subtle. You should frame the ice cream cones, great for a kitchen! Your bird is great, he has just enough realism, without being overworked. It amazes me that you can dive in to a new medium, and come up with these great results!!!
I like them all, looks like good pigment with these watercolors. My fav is the first one, the colors and granulations, just beautiful.

Right now I’m liking the Cherry Vanilla because I just had some. The bird is a great example of doing Shapes and the colors of the first are soft and pleasing.
I keep looking at your leaves. They are beautifully drawn and have interesting texture and rich nuanced color. Wonderful!
I love all three. The leaf colors are just gorgeous, and the parrot looks as though he is about to have a very intelligent conversation. He seems wise and is beautiful!
You are definitely multi talented! Who would think to paint ice cream cones? Very imaginative! I always enjoy seeing what you do whether it is collage or painting…its always so interesting and well done.
