Nice Gemma, you’re getting into the flowers and it looks like you’re enjoying it. You’re certainly having success with them. I too like how you did the background, works well with the vase and flowers.
This is really so pretty! I like the way you treated the background and table. There is both softness and movement. Your use of subdued but interesting color on the table really works.
This is really nice Gemma. I especially like the table…the colors and the brushwork. I agree that oils are so nice to paint with…they don’t fight you like acrylics do and you can get nice soft edges. They have such a nice depth of color. However, acrylics do have their advantages. I guess we can do both for different reasons!
I like the background with a feeling of subtle movement. I feel like the flowers really pop and they are in a natural environment.
