I hope all of you are having fun with your challenges. It’s hard to believe we’re already at the halfway point. Last week there were some issues about not seeing all of people’s paintings. Please let me know if that happens again. I’m sending you an email that will let you know how many to anticipate from each person. Thanks so much!

So many beautiful skies, all different! My favorite is the top one. I love the thick, juicy paint. I also like the indications of things on the ground plane at the back. It makes me wonder what they are and I want to keep looking. Beautiful color throughout too. Really lovely!
They all look so familiar and calm. Absolutely love your color as always!
Susan, just wondering how big these are? Whatever their size, your colors are beautiful and paint is luscious. I think 2 is my favorite. I can’t take my eyes off those pieces of color!
Good Morning Rose! size…. The first one is 10×10, #2 8 x 8, and #3 10×10. I’m having fun trying things with small studies in different mediums.
I keep going back to number 3. It’s so soft and a bit mysterious.

Beautiful color as always. I especially like the ground plane in #1. I also like the way the sky sweeps across in this one. # 3 reminds me of a painting by Wolf Kahn. Is it watercolor?
It’s funny that you guessed watercolor. I’ve been trying small studies in different mediums, and I’m surprised that sometimes I need to work at remembering what I used. This one is in oil.
Hi Susan , these are so luscious , the colors, the texture , I almost don’t know what to say , they’re so you ! As always I am inspired by your work , all so individually presented.
You express the awe that one feels when looking up at the ever changing sky. My favorite is 3. It is beautiful and joyful.
Wow! Gorgeous colors in all and I am absolutely obsessed with the first one. The colors used in your sky are spectacular. Such a beautiful painting Susan!
