I really like the style of the first one. I can tell what everything is, but it’s not literal. Also beautiful color! My favorite is the second one. I like everything! The paint application, splatters, wild movement of the strokes…it looks like the birds are struggling (or dancing) in a great wind! Really cool!
I like both of these. In 1, the trees and river look like they’re dancing. 2 has great movement too, but I love the spatters and black lines that accent everything!
I love the explosion of movement and color in your storm birds! I can feel the wildness and feeling of freedom… Wouldn’t it be great to be able to fly?
Ditto…these are both loose with lots of energy. I especially like #2 because it’s a bit mysterious in a light hearted way. The colors and smatters are also great!
Hi Les, we are having a chilly day in Florida ( not like ct, ) . I love your colors in both but actually can get a little shiver going looking at the ice in your first . I like the flow of the water too. The second is appealing , like the colors and can imagine the birds .
I love the second one! The hearty birds seem as though they are dancing. They remind me of how some dogs play in the snow, rolling around having the time of their lives.

They are both so loose and fluid. You captured the movement so gracefully

Hi Les! I really like the movement in both! I especially like the birds in the second painting. Such beautiful colors and a flurry of action.
