Number 1 was done with a combination of brush, knife, brush/knife, oil & oil/wax. I haven’t come to terms with what I feel comfortable with so I’m trying them all. Each peach & background was done using the different methods.

Sounds like a good way to get back into it. I especially like the boldness and textures in the first and second ones.

I love the peaches. All of the things you did worked so well that now I’m having a peach craving. 😉
The delicious colors and subtle values in the peaches are wonderful. They are way beautiful! You look like you feel pretty comfortable going back and forth with brush and knife, and why not?
I love the texture and looseness , especially in the third piece. The peaches are yummy, too!

Oh my goodness, those peaches are such luscious colors! I want to take a big bite out of them; they look delicious!
