These are lovely! I really enjoy how you handle watercolor, and the delicacy of the work. Thanks for sharing a bit of Maine with us!
You had a vision that morning… and nailed it. Merging the cabin backdrop with the foreground florals was no small challenge. I love the way my eye goes to the large red flower, then is lead around by those red trees… What? Surprise, there is a cabin there as well. Quite a feat.
I love the big shapes and diagonals in the second piece. Very strong in an abstract way… but representative as well. Wonderful!
