This looks like an idyllic place for a quiet lunch. You convey a lot in these pieces. Emotion comes through as peaceful contentment to me.
I too see two friends in a serene tete a tete. The big sweep of flowers on the arbor set them apart and make the scene seem intimate as well.
I can almost hear them talking from my spot behind the flowers. From their clothes it looks like it may have been a cool morning. So cool!
The figure sipping the tea conveys so much. I feel I know her. The closeness of the flowers makes me think of overhearing a conversation…one of my favorite things to do.
