Snoozing. I used mostly pan pastels but tweaked with regular pastels.

This is wonderful, I just want to snuggle up.
Les
This kitten looks so soft and sweet that I really wish I could pick her up for a cuddle.
Wow Linda, this little kitten looks so soft and snuggly. How do you do that with pan pastels? Very sweet!
Hi Maureen,
Well, the first thing I did was to say a prayer that my kitty would remain in that position for awhile, (knowing that it’s pretty unlikely!) Then I made a quick sketch with the pan pastels and proceeded to paint her. I may go back and correct a few things like her legs, face and do more with the bedding that she was nestled into. Susan introduced us to the pan pastels which I love. Well, take care, Lynda
I want to stoke her ever so lightly and listen to her purr. You’ve really captured her peacefulness.
I think pastels are your medium Lynda… They seem to fit your gentle, sensitive personality and art spirit. This pastel painting is wonderful!
Oh my such a sweet kitty! I can feel the softness of her fur. I love this!
