One evening I looked out the window and was delighted by a wonderful huge cloud nestled behind the trees and the moon shining above. I tried to recreate the scene in watercolor, collage and pastel.

Lynda, so interesting to see your handling in 3 different media. They’re all nice, my fav is the watercolor. I love your flowers, too!
I love your idea of tapping three mediums. It’s interesting how each one lends it’s own feel. I think my favorite in the series is your pastel. It conveys the mysteries of the night clouds in such a beautiful subtle way. The wonderful soft feelings of clouds and sky keep me floating in the space.
Very pretty combo of line and color in the flowers. I know you work on cards… this painting would make a beautiful one!
What a great idea! I also think the pastel is my favorite. The overall softness and mystery pull me in. I keep thinking of “Good Night Moon”. 😊
I think the collage is my favorite. I admire how you really need to commit to the shapes and composition. The still life us also lovely
Great to do the different mediums. I like the watercolor a lot and my favorite is the collage.
The same scene all done in different mediums, what a great idea. They all came out differently and all pleasing to look at. My favorite is the pastel, I like the colors and the mood of it.
Oh wow, Linda, these are all so cool! I agree, what a great idea to experiment with all different mediums. I find them all so interesting. I especially like the watercolor and softness of the first one, but also love the drama of the darker night sky. Your flowers are also just so pretty.
