More imaginary flowers. This is my favorite so far. They look almost real but not quite. I always seem to get one that wants to hang over the vase, so I let it.

This is neat. I like this one a lot also. It looks like it’s made of potato chips and blueberries! I like it hanging over the edge.

I react with a warm, nostalgic, 1950’s feeling! I think it’s partly due to the yellow tiles that the vase is resting on, but the entire painting is so cheerful and balanced.
I like how you did the different shapes with the petals and the varying pattens in those petals.
Deb I ordered the book after you mentioned it. I didn’t like it at all and put it on the shelf without even really bothering to look at it. HOWEVER I really like this one and will go back and take a look at it. I haven’t been painting, but will give it a try when I start again. You’re a great inspiration!
I love the complimentary colors and limited palette. I agree with Sharon, you seem to love to push your boundaries which is very inspiring.
I love contrast of the flowy lines and shapes of the flowers and vase with the sharp edges and lines of the yellow rectangle tile. The flowers and vase remind me of stained glass. Very pretty Deb!
