“I used to visit Keeney Pond as a youngster. The natural butterflies, dragonflies and turtles were a sight to behold. The water was always clean from natural springs that fed the pond.

I like the feeling of the dragonfly and the way it’s placed in it’s environment, I can feel it in flight.

Beautiful color and detail. Your appreciation of nature shows and makes it even more beautiful.
I’m a big fan of dragonflies, so this immediately caught my attention. I like how you made the dragonfly really big….like it just flew very close to my face. Your colors are also very attention grabbing and appealing.
I’m captured by the sudden burst of flight and freedom! The blue background looks like a waterfall, especially with the vertical brushstrokes.
I also love dragonflies… You painted the wings with such beautiful pieces of color. the iridescent turquoise against the orange is wonderful. You’ve caught a wonderful moment in life at the pond.
Your Dragonfly just pops right out. I sense flight and it’s on a mission.
The muted greens and blues make a very nice background and the dragonfly really fills most of the composition nicely
