I see lots of different things in this one, with the definite shapes of the building and umbrella to ground me. As I mentioned to Adrienne, your colors are great and it looks like you painted this using the same palette.
I love the loose and merry way you captured the feel of the beach. The warm colors and soft edges give suggestions of all sorts of happenings without spelling them out. It makes me want to wander through the painting.
An explosion of color mixed with a riot of activity. I see tall buildings on the left with the hustle and bustle of city life. Across the river is the calmness of the country. Someone selling vegetables under the umbrella next to their barn.

A riot of color! I especially like the melding of the background colors. The whole thing makes me think of a warm summer day.

This reminds me of Maurice Prendergast beach scenes!!!! I love the pieces of color
