Your eyes wander through all the different marks, but in a very calm way. My first reaction was, what a sweet painting!
This is so sweet! I agree with Jane. It reminds me of some of the paintings or wall hangings that people bring to the Antiques Road Show, painted many years ago!
I love the zany directions of the flower stems and the many different patterns and rhythms. It’s grounded in that big symmetrical vase, but then it has such a whimsical feel to me.
Very pleasing to look at. The doily gives it an old fashioned feel. I like the softness of your background.
