This is a watercolor study, mainly to learn how the paint reacts and to learn mark making. Paint pens and a fine liner were used for most of the embellishments.Â

Its from a book on abstract watercolor painting. I’m also working from another book and taking an online course – and feeling a bit confused. 😕
These colors are delicious. The mark making is very compelling. Is there a masking that takes place as well? Beautiful.
There’s no masking. I used circular things to get those down, and a ruler for straight lines, but otherwise you work with what you get.
I agree with Les, it does feel like planets, stars and meteors flying across the sky. I really love it!
Your designs are wonderful….and I so agree with Susan about the colors….they are luscious
