We went to Comstock Ferre in Wethersfield this week. This is a converted, very old, brick building, that used to be a seed store. They’ve kept it much as it was. It was a spectacular Spring day. I just may have to do a painting… From my sketchbook…

It was a beautiful day and great to be out painting. This is a Wonderful sketch and you captured the feeling of being there and the people walking by. A painting would be great.

It looks like a snow scene to me because it’s in black and white. You could do this several times-one for each season. It must be great to be outside painting again after a long winter.
This is a very strong drawing and it would be fun to see you translate to color
You have the old Comstock building down perfectly. I love the B&W, I agree with Margaret in that it’s a strong sketch done in that manner
Oh how I love Comstock Ferre in Wethersfield. I have a cute painted step stool and 4 large prints I had framed that depict the four seasons in a little New England village. I do hope you paint this! The sketch is amazing!
