This is a redo of last week’s painting. I followed Susan’s comment that she saw something other than flowers. The vase seemed rather contrived. I decided to loosen it up and do a purely abstract painting. I’m also trying to work on those hard edges that acrylics seem to create.
It’s all an experiment and so individual with what we’re looking to express. I’d be interested to know if this one is more of what you’re looking for?

Wow, I had no idea it was acrylic. It feels juicy and loose like oil. I love all the variations in the round purpleyish shapes
It’s really vibrant! So much energy. I see people riding on a motorcycle!
I wrote a comment but it said it was a duplicate! Sometimes after I write another note the first one pops up! Will submit this and see!
yup, it worked!
I really like this: the layered effect, your color choices, variety of shapes and the touch of red/orange that draws me in then moves me around.
I liked it before and I like it now. The thing I notice the most in this one is still the circles, then my eye travels down the right side, up to the red/orange line, and back to the circles. Really beautiful!
I also really like this one. Your use of interesting and powerful darks really cradles your design and leads me around the painting. Those oranges and blues beautifully placed and are interesting shapes. I have no idea how large this is… but I can see it in a 30×30.
Wow, those colors and shapes are gorgeous. The greens are so pretty and soft, the blues are so vibrant, my eye is drawn all over the painting and I love those bits of orange. I can also see it in a 30×30 also or bigger!
