I really like this. it seems like there is a depth and parts are slowly surfacing.
Oh Deb, this is beautiful. I really like the color combination of turquoise and browns. The little wheel reminds me of a pretty cocktail umbrella dancing in something yummy.
This piece feels ancient to me… Asian. The mark making looks like symbols for words and the wheel a compass or directional in some way. It has a wonderful feel and like the layered colors.
So dramatic! I feel as though I’m in a city at night!
You’ve achieved such complexity and subtlety in your background both at the same time. It makes such a nice background for the blue. I also love the black marks… really lovely. I also saw the red piece that you posted on facebook. It’s spectacular…i hope you post it for everyone else to see.
