- We were driving through Madison Maine and there is an old paper mill that has begun producing insulation from wood products. It was quitting time and by around the 50th worker crossing I saw a painting!!! Of course my husband decided to wash the windshield at that moment and I only got one crummy iPhone picture. I sketched it up and put in some pieces of color. I could beat it to death but I loved the dirty roughness as is! Happy painting 😀
I agree I feel like you really captured it, good with the “roughness” well done.

Margaret, this is wonderful! At first I thought it was a photo, but it’s so much better than any photo could be. You caught the industrial setting, the time of day, the mood of the workers-everything! And the lights on the buildings add so much-really fantastic!
Wow Margaret! You captured the light so beautifully! I love this!
Love the feeling here. You captured the important things, the light and the mood, and you got just enough details.
I’m drawn to the light, as well. It’s just amazing!
