Rose, I really am drawn to your tree in snow painting. I love the design sprawling off on three sides. The simplification of the background keeps your eye on those beautiful blues and undulating lines in the branches. The shadows are elegant. Yes!
Your sense of design and composition is so strong in addition to your clean colors
Love the tree with its “fingers” going in many directions and the simplicity of the background. It reads winter and I feel cold. Your colors in the next two are crisp and bright. Your wait for the paper to dry has paid off. Nicely done
I love the painting of the box in 21. I can’t put my finger on it but I have seen a change in your painting this time around. Are the colors are more crisp? The shapes more defined? A new confidence? Whatever it is, it makes for really lovely paintings. Maybe its the wet on wet!
I also love the tree painting. The snow is beautifully done and the shape of the tree is very attractive-and hopeful? Reaching for something? I also like it’s warm color. But your other paintings also look lovely. I think the adjective “crisp” is right on. And you color is very clear and beautiful.
I love your apple tree in the snow. I love that tree anyway with it’s own personality that you captured.

I was able to bring up the feature apple tree and love it! The reaching branches are so majestic and the colors pooled beneath the tree give it such warmth.
